Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules for using the LynxPanel software provided by Level 1 Labs. It is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service. By using the Software you agree to this AUP.

1. Core Principle

LynxPanel is software. Level 1 Labs does not provide, host, or control any media content. Every user who installs or operates the Software is fully and solely responsible for how they use it and for all content they configure, transmit, record, or make available.

2. You Must

• Hold all rights, licenses, and permissions required for any content you make available through the Software.
• Comply with all applicable laws in every jurisdiction where you operate and where your customers are located, including copyright, broadcasting, consumer-protection, privacy, and tax laws.
• Operate your own infrastructure securely and lawfully.
• Respond promptly to lawful takedown or rights-holder requests concerning content on your servers.

3. You Must Not

• Use the Software to store, transmit, stream, or distribute content you are not authorized to distribute, including copyrighted television, film, or audio without permission.
• Infringe any intellectual-property, broadcasting, or other rights of any third party.
• Use the Software for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose.
• Distribute malware, or use the Software to attack, probe, or disrupt any network or system.
• Circumvent or tamper with licensing, activation, or security mechanisms.
• Misrepresent your relationship with Level 1 Labs or imply that Level 1 Labs supplies or endorses any content.
• Use the Software to harm minors or to distribute illegal material of any kind.

4. No Content Endorsement

Level 1 Labs does not monitor, review, or pre-screen the content that operators configure, and has no obligation to do so. The presence of features that can handle media (such as streaming, recording, or playlist tools) is not an invitation or authorization to use them unlawfully.

5. Resource-Based Features

Some features (such as electronic program guide provisioning) are offered as allocations of server resources — storage, memory, processing, and bandwidth. Any guide or schedule data is sourced from publicly available third parties and provided free of charge; Level 1 Labs does not sell or warrant that data. Fees for such features are for the underlying server resources, not for the data. You remain responsible for ensuring your use of any data complies with applicable law and the source's terms.

5. Enforcement

If Level 1 Labs becomes aware of a credible report that the Software is being used in violation of this AUP or applicable law, we may, at our discretion and without liability, suspend or revoke the relevant license. Because operators run their own servers, Level 1 Labs's enforcement is generally limited to the software license; content removal is the operator's responsibility.
