Policies & Procedures

Last updated: June 5, 2026 · Effective: June 5, 2026
⚠ Draft for review. This document is a starting template prepared for Level 1 Labs and has not been reviewed by a licensed attorney. Have qualified legal counsel review and adapt it before publication.

This Policies & Procedures document summarizes how Level 1 Labs operates the LynxPanel software platform and what we expect of licensees. It supplements our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.

1. Our Role

Level 1 Labs is a software vendor. We build, license, and support the LynxPanel platform. We do not operate a content service and do not host or supply media. Operators and resellers run their own servers and services independently.

2. Licensing Procedure

  • Licenses are issued through the management panel and validated server-side.
  • Each installation activates against a license and may be fingerprinted to its environment.
  • Licenses may be monthly, yearly, or lifetime, and may include limits such as the number of resellers.
  • Licenses that lapse pass through a short grace period before the installation stops serving; renewing within the grace period restores service.

3. Support

Support for the Software is provided by email at [email protected]. We aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe. Support covers the software itself — not the content, infrastructure, or customers managed by independent operators.

4. Security Procedures

  • We rotate and protect sensitive secrets, restrict access, and apply security updates to our systems.
  • Licensees are responsible for securing their own servers, credentials, and customer data.
  • Suspected security issues with the Software can be reported to [email protected].

5. Abuse & Compliance

We take reports of misuse seriously. Where we receive a credible report that the Software is being used unlawfully, we may suspend or revoke the relevant license. Because operators control their own servers, removal of any specific content is the operator's responsibility. Copyright complaints are handled under our DMCA / Takedown Policy.

6. Data Handling

We handle personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. Operators are independent controllers of any personal data they process on their own systems.

7. Service Changes

We may update, improve, or discontinue features of the Software. Material changes affecting licensees will be communicated where reasonably practicable.
